The town of Hoedspruit is a wildlife haven and the Moholoholo Animal Rehabilitation Centre has our wildlife’s welfare top-of-mind. The centre is primarily a rehabilitation facility for wild animals and birds that have been injured or poisoned. Not all animals can be released back into the wild, and you can visit some of these ‘ambassador’ animals on daily tours of the facility, including lions, wild dogs and spectacular birds of prey – excellent for photography.

You can even interact with some of the animals in a controlled environment and learn more about our precious and threatened wildlife species and the many challenges they face as knowledgeable guides share their wealth of information.

“We loved every piece of the stay. Martin was a great host! Breakfast was scrumptious and food amazing. Rooms fantastic and with a great attention to detail. Love and miss the amenities! They also left a lovely surprise in our room…. 100% recommended!”

“For a luxurious, affordable and relaxing stay in the Hoedspruit area look no further. The accommodation (book the honeymoon suite) is excellent and we were well looked after by a very professional Tanja and her team. The meals were out of this world and they went out of their way to make us feel special. We will return!”
